Milk Inc @ Sportpaleis at new years eve ????

Postby Vernon » Wed Jul 28, 2010 7:56 pm

OK guys don't be too happy while reading this.... Just an idea.

The past 2 years a Belgium dutchvocal band called Clouseau performed @ Sportpaleis during new years eve. Last year I was also there and it was a great show. Clouseau performed with Belgium topvocalist Natalia (soul / dance). The show starts at 22:30 hr on 31st december and it ends at 01:30 on january 1st. So it was a 3 hour show, they performed together and solo.

NOW, this year it looks like Clouseau will not do the new years eve show anymore because their concertserie @ sportpaleis they have in december is called ''Laatste Ronde'' (Final leap). They will stop for some unknown time as band.

SO, MY IDEA... To have a great party AGAIN during new years eve... it could be cool to have Milk Inc live on december 31st, maybe with Natalia (English vocals) or with Sylver....

I hope Milk Inc (Filip / Regi or Linda) also read this and will think about some possible options.... Maybe again with Clouseau....

Great idea !!

I'd like to see Milk Inc at a New year Party :)

Morevoer, for Sylver, it's not possible this year because they are already @ Koksijde, for the Xbeach. ^^

Regarding the Dance Nation Live 2010 Event.

How Milk Inc are not the headliner is just bizzare, but that is purely down to promotion and public awareness.

How about with the release of the new Milk Inc album, that Milk Inc do a mini UK tour?

If not alone, then as support for a more established artist, either way, to break this deadlock, it must be done.

The show in Herentals was waaauwww! I enjoyed it a lot!

What's the name of the German drummer? Does he do all the live shows this summer? Or does he switch with Michael?

His name is Dirk Brand. He only does live shows when Michael is not available. ;)

The show at Herentals was very nice!
The German drummer is called Dirk Brand, he only drums when Michael is abroad, so this weekend at Suikerrock and Herentals he had to drum instead.
At Suikerrock, they also had a backup backing vocal Ibernice, she has performed before with Milk Inc., but at Suikerrock it was the first time this year. I like Merel and Vanessa better ;)

God yeah, I remember her... She didn't move at all (or very stiffly) during the live shows... ;)

Re: Milk Inc. - Live At Summerfestival 2010

Just watched Milk Inc. - Live At Summerfestival via JIM TV...

Really enjoyed it, was super kool to see this event, the reconfigured intro's and arrangements were very refreshing to hear, the band seemed very tight and relaxed, Linda and the backing vocalists were awesome too.

The JIM TV showcase featured 11 tracks (41 mins), does anybody know how long the actual Milk Inc performance was? and if the entire set was filmed?

Thanks.

Normal performance: 75-80 minutes ;)

I think they recorded the whole set, don't know what JIM will do with it though...

Thank you Munterke for the info.

I'd like to see the entire footage released on DVD, not sure what the chances are of that, but it would sell, it could be a limited edition release.

JIM could do the same with Regi's World (a boxset for each series) rather than just sitting on the footage and keeping it locked in their storage vault.

A JIM TV DVD Division outlet, etc.

At their interview for SummerFestival they told they would like to go outside Belgium with the live-band..... Well I should say come to Amsterdam. We have 2 great stages for ''small'' acts which are not really populair in The netherlands. It are small building in the center of Amsterdam:

PARADISO --> http://www.paradiso.nl /
INFO about: --> http://www.paradiso.nl/web/Over-paradiso.htm

MELKWEG --> http://www.melkweg.nl/
INFO about: --> http://www.melkweg.nl/artikelpagina.jsp ... nfoid=6372

Both buildings are very important for ''new unknown'' artists
Both are set in the center of Amsterdam near the Leidseplein / Leidsesquare.
